Anarteq: Envoy to Lough Melvin
The seven remaining items are going to feature in a virtual tour book featuring screenshots from the game. Various complications made it difficult for Dozerfleet Labs to host files of the actual progress save files of houses. The seven deleted projects removed due to a combination of game limitations and real life schedule conflicts. No actual game files will be offered for download, though the seven homes will still feature.
Check the Games tab to find it. After this, the Cherinob 3 book for InZoi is pending. This will be followed by The Trapezoid Kids, Grillitan Diner, Camelorum Adventures, Corando, and Volkonir. Every property that was adapted for The Sims 4: Magic of Movies and Memes Stuff is getting an InZoi book first. When these are cleared from the slate, work will resume on Anarteq: Top of the World for The Sims 3. Work on the wiki articles for Anarteq in gaming will also resume. Once Top of the World is finished, the booklets for the Anarteq adaptations for Sims 4 will be worked on, followed by the InZoi recipes for the Anarteq cast. This will be followed by Sims 4 handbooks and InZoi recipe books for the other Sims adaptation properties from the old catalog, especially The Horrorday Gang.
The final franchise to get InZoi and Sims 4 booklets will be the Centipede and Fire Saga, culiminating in the writing of Ciem: Inferno the novel, and work on the actual comic for Blood Over Water. With these done, and Purge-Flare possibly getting a repackage, the novels will likely get a bright future. Game modding will eventually be phased out. However, Dozerfleet Labs will still host the existing titles, along with the software and crafts of Dozerfleet.
In anticipation of the March 28th stated release date for InZoi, DzMD has made several bits of art combining game screenshot art with Krea AI - to propose re-creation of the cast of the Dozerfleet Megaverse inside the world of Krafton's new game. This measure was done this way due to the fact that Dozerfleet Main wasn't powerful enough at the time to run the character creator demo for InZoi.
The first of these character recipe books is now available for download: InZOI: The Cherinob Character Recipe Book. It is set to be followed by Cherinob 2, Cherinob 3, Corando's "Don't Lose Hope", Volkonir, The Trapezoid Kids, Grillitan Diner, and Camelorum Adventures tie-in books, in keeping with the fact that these particular title were previously adapted for The Sims 4: Magic of Movies and Memes Stuff.
Following the release of these recipe books, the Anarteq and Ciem sagas will get their InZoi books, followed by the others.
The initial release of The Sims 4: Magic of Movies and Memes Stuff came with a little bit of everything included...though the Argon Vole Knight's armor went missing. It has been patched back in.
In addition to this, the stuff pack now has its official handbook published, allowing downloaders a whole 311 pages worth of content to know what's included in the pack, and its significance!
With this upload finished, about all that remains to finish the project of Magic of Movies and Memes entirely is the following:
Cleaning up the wiki articles.
Cleaning up images and workspace offline.
Generating a trailer for YouTube.
Making the wiki article for the trailer.
When this work has commenced, the next project to gain major focus will be the official handbook for the Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo Story Pack for The Sims 4, along with creating a spin-off pack for The Sims 3 dubbed Anarteq: Top of the World. Completion of those works will be followed by the generation of handbooks for:
The Sims 4: Anarteq: Tropic Mercenary Story Pack
The Sims 4: Anarteq: Envoy to Lough Melvin Story Pack
The Sims 4: Ciem: Inferno Story Pack
The Sims 4: Ciem: Ash Cloud Story Pack
The Sims 4: Ciem: Caldera Story Pack
The Sims 4: Sodality: Adaptation and Determination Story Pack
With those handbooks made, the old blog posts set to be cleaned up afterward and the content converted to handbooks will include:
The Sims 4: Swappernetters: Frontliner Story Pack
The Sims 4: Swappernetters: The Chrome Kite Story Pack
The Sims 4: Swappernetters: Supporting Cast Story Pack
The Sims 4: Swappernetters: Screwworms and Other Villains Story Pack
The Sims 4: Sodality: Instigation Story Pack
The Sims 4: The Horrorday Gang Story Pack
Adding The Sims 3: Anarteq: Top of the World Story Pack means that there will be a total of 17 Sims packs still hosted on DzMD. The InZOI character recipe books are also still pending, along with research into making some of the homes from The Gerosha Chronicles into mods for House Flipper 2.
Featured: Tabitha Pang from Swappernetters, in the world of InZoi.
Dozerfleet Labs has been hard at work trying to use Krea AI in coordination with game screenshots from InZoi to imagine what the Dozerfleet Megaverse (Abrujanian Family of Timelines) might look like in the world of that game. At the time of this post, only a few renders are yet to be finalized from the Cherinob saga, Sodality series, and Gray Champion saga.
Once all character sets have been completed, recipe books may then be shared under a pending InZoi game tab. These recipe books will contain hypothetical data about what re-creating characters from various Dozerfleet projects in the game format of InZoi may entail.
What the recipe books will contain
Character concept art renders, made with Krea AI, and edited with Photoshop Elements.
Character bios
Links to characters' wiki articles
Descriptions of the characters' hypothetical Altered data, and how it could be translated to the game.
Characters' recommended personality, aspiration, and skill traits
A limited number of theorized pets
What the recipe books won't contain
Unfortunately, without the ability of the current tower serving as Dozerfleet Main to run the actual InZoi game, only the aforementioned content is practical to even pursue. So the following won't be found under the recipe books' sections:
Actual character files for download
Vehicles
Makeup
Gameplay objects
Clothing items, separate from characters wearing them
Custom VFX scripts for Altered characters
Real estate
Definitive Altered data tutorials
Official game DLC requirement lists
Custom content requirement lists
Site credits?
While the Sims 4 packs for DzMD qualify for IMDB pages, the InZoi recipe books, by virtue of not having any file downloads to associate them with, will not qualify for said IMDB pages. The complete collection of catalogs for hypothetical Zois could receive publication credit on LinkedIn; but would qualify for neither IMDB nor ICDB.
Altered life states: a logistical nightmare?
Altered characters will especially have a difficult time being adapted by fans to the game's format as anything other than aesthetic mods. Krafton has yet to confirm any intention to support Altered Life States in their game, the way that EA added an "occult" system to The Sims 4. In that game, the following entities have been able to be substituted:
Amphibioids: Mods, highly-altered Sim body shapes, rare in-game or custom skintones or skin overlays, and Photoshop effects.
Angels: Any combinations of Alien occult state, Spellcaster state, Armageddon Mod, or the Angel and Demon Traits mod. Glowing iris effects on Radiatrim are usually enhanced with Photoshop. Cherinob's "mesh" is a Photoshop blend mode filter.
Anitos: Altered skin
Botanoids: Plant Sim occult state, often maintained via mods.
Casteroids: Werewolves, with their head shapes modified to better resemble a beaver.
Centhuen Prototypes: Altered color irises and protruding centilegs are Photoshop effects. Otherwise, Centhuen Prototypes are usually normal Sims. Under certain circumstances, their abilities may be enhanced with the Armageddon Mod.
Cortascians: Usually portrayed by normal Sims.
True Centhuens: Mods, rare skin colors or overlays, insect accessory mods, and post-capture Photoshop effects.
Chemistry Manipulators: Mods, rare skin colors or overlays, and chemistry effects are post-capture Photoshop effects.
Emotion Batteries: Varying effects. May require custom skintones or overlays. Usually involve the Armageddon mod, and sometimes an Alien or Spellcaster occult state. Effects are almost always finalized in Photoshop.
Fire Elementals: Varying combinations of the Spellcaster occult state, or possibly the Armageddon Mod. Results are almost always Photoshop-enhanced.
Gwirdons: Standard Sims with green skintones. Compound eyes and proboscide are usually added with Photoshop, with their traditional mouths hidden. Treaders are sometimes portrayed by mannequins.
Jackaloids: Custom Sims with furry mods.
Kritchabloid Demons: Any combinations of Vampire occult state, Spellcaster state, Armageddon Mod, or the Angel and Demon Traits mod. Photoshop is usually employed for additional VFX.
Lightning Elementals: Charged Sims via cheats, Spellcasters, or else the Armageddon mod may be employed.
Lirquinwurs: Alien Sims, or a wall decoration standing in when they make only their heads visible.
Meethlites: Standard Sims with tiny noses and custom / dark skintones / overlays.
Microwave Mouths: Standard Sims with a Photoshop effect added to the scene.
Milthuen Prototypes: The TOOL mod helps them with sticking to walls. Otherwise, same protocols as a Centhuen Prototype.
True Milthuens: Similar protocols as with a True Centhuen.
Parakoids: Standard Sims with furry mods. Tails are usually Photoshopped.
Petroids: Standard Sims with rare or custom skintones / overlays. Additional effects are usually Photoshopped.
Phantomimics: Ghost effects are usually achieved using either the Nightstalker occult state, or else standard Sims run through Photoshop filters. Two versions of a scene, with and without the Sim, will be shot, to manipulate transparency. More rarely, a Ghost Sim can be used.
Phaelites: Standard Sims with custom / green skintones / overlays. Rarely, they can be Alien Sims, though this complicates their physiology too much.
Polymorphs: Altered skintones, like what becomes of Perchta, can be selected with rare or custom skintones in Create-A-Sim. Any shape-warping effects are done in Photoshop.
Qalupaliks: Heavily modified mermaids, usually turned into Kelpies using the Extended Mermaids mod.
Tariaksuq: Vampire Sims paired with furry mods to look more like reindeer. Jerry the Psycho Reindeer's eyes are a combination of Photoshop and the Supervillain eyes effect from the Armageddon mod.
Vampires: Usually made with the standard Vampire Sim occult state that comes with the game pack. However, there is very little consistency regarding their appearances, rules, and powers.
Water Elementals: Usually standard Sims, sometimes paired with the Armageddon mod. Most water effects are made later in Photoshop.
Wereaardwolves: Standard Sims with furry mods.
Weregoats: Usually Vampire Sims, but paired in their Dark Forms with numerous bits of custom content to appear more goat-like.
Weresalmon: Mermaids with additional Photoshop effects, especially for their face scales. Often paired with the Extended Mermaids mod.
Weresharks: Mermaids with Photoshop applied to them. Sometimes paired with the Extended Mermaids mod.
Weretigers: Werewolves altered in Create-A-Sim to look more tiger-like. Lava Tigre's lava and fire effects are done in Photoshop.
Werewolves: Utilization of the standard in-game Werewolf occult state that comes with the game pack.
Xomians: Purple Phaelites. Alien Sims usually suffice.
Xomified: What being Xomified means varies widely. Mos VFX are created with Photoshop. Most Xomifieds are portrayed by standard Sims.
Zeranites: Teleportation cheats. Zeran holes are visual effects added in Photoshop, often a very crude take on Doctor Strange-style magic portals.
The following have not been so easy:
Kaijin: Adaptation varies widely. Some can be made with only a few makeup or costume effects. Some can be kitbashed into existence from in-game clothing and objects. Other types are simply impossible in The Sims 4.
Minionoids: These have to be Photoshopped in when taking a quasi-solid form. Otherwise, they are like clouds of smoke, and need to be depicted as smoke using something like Andrew's Studio Effect Player.
To make adapting Megaverse Altered states into InZoi be on par with the difficulty level of adapting to The Sims 4, the following would be needed:
Some or another form of werewolf.
Some or another form of vampire.
Some or another form of witch species.
Some or another form of ghost.
Some or another form of alien.
Some or another form of merfolk.
Furry mods
An equivalent mod to Armageddon, that grants superpowers. Or an actual DLC that grants them.
Technicolor skintones
Plant-Zois
The sub-franchises: Will they adapt?
It is unclear, given Krafton's emphasis on realism, the extent to which it would have any interest in adapting any form of occult entities into the world of InZoi. While some have speculated on an emphasis on creatures from Asian lore, this too remains questionable. Western monsters would need mods, more than likely, to be adapted at all. If Krafton is open in the future to adapting the Megaverse, then the following properties would be the easiest for them to adapt:
Navyrope: Due to lack of superpowered characters
Blood Over Water: Due to very few supernatural characters
Extirpon: Due to the fact that, Emotion Battery characters notwithstanding, most everyone else is not a supernatural character. And most Emotion Battery effects would be fairly easy to replicate.
Swappernetters: Due to the futurism aesthetic of Chrome Kite construction projects, relatively low supernatural character count, and emphasis on characters using pragmatic skills and social engineering to accomplish their goals.
Corando's "Don't Lose Hope": Filforth notwithstanding, the most supernatural thing depicted is the meteor shower destroying Porbandar. Otherwise, the cast are all normal.
Sorbet: Zombies and two vampires notwithstanding, few supernatural events. Hadley's having to repeat the time loop would be easy to copy from the game's preexisting mechanics for rewinding time.
Cherinob: Angel and demon alt modes notwithstanding, HMCs would be very similar to Emotion Battery Marlquaanites, such as Extirpon. Unless employing fancy supernatural effects, they'd be no different than witches, gameplay-wise. Their HMC forms would mostly be entirely ordinary. Vanishing along the W Axis would be tricky to depict; but would allow them to have offscreen battles to compensate for the game's limitations.
The Bison: Grinodos notwithstanding, only the Bison himself counts as a "supernatural" being. He'd add very little new gameplay, and would mostly be an NPC for Zois to be scared of.
Path of the Ming-Cho: Due to lack of superpowered characters
Pilltar: The robots notwithstanding, a relative lack of "supernatural" characters.
Grillitan Diner: Main cast are all mundane human characters.
The Gray Champion: The main difficulty with this one would be John Domeck, Marge Ramirez, Miles Charleston, Ted Brackett, and Kathy Hibbins' Marlquaan abilities. Eqquibus being a winged reverse-centaur monster would also complicate matters. Otherwise, Boston is a pretty regular city. The SCALLOP agents featured would be cute. The Pang family is of Korean descent.
Meanwhile, Krafton would most likely not agree to adapting these properties:
Anarteq: Tons of characters based on various western indigenous mythologies. Each new type of character would require an entirely new mechanic for their occult physiology.
The Centipede and Fire Saga: Various superheroes and supervillains of multiple forms = lots of new occult states to define. Plus, heavy environmental destruction to account for.
Phaemer Village Peacekeepers: Multiple kinds of aliens to account for make doing so as complicated as making a Guardians of the Galaxy video game.
The Tale of Plum Bixie: Due to the rated M for Mature levels of violence.
Sodality: Huge "supernatural" cast, tons of environmental destruction.
The Horrorday Gang: "Supernatural" characters, violence, and gore.
The Slushy Show: Silly talking cartoon animals = lots of new mechanics to work out.
Camelorum Adventures: Lots of "supernatural" and otherwise altered beings to account for = lots of new mechanics. Plus, cartoon physics for characters that run on toonforce.
Volkonir: While henshin suits wouldn't be a problem, Gwirdons and kaijin would make for significant adaptation difficulty.
The Trapezoid Kids: Xiphonikian physiology makes very little sense in the game's world.
Project: Rene influence
A recent announcement from EA is that their work on Project: Rene will be utilized for remaking The Sims Mobile, as well as finding new ways to enhance gameplay for The Sims 4. The full-scale version of The Sims 5 is no longer happening. This means that, for what it counts, The Sims 4 is the last numbered title in the franchise to be happening for quite some time, for the forseeable future. Therefore, without a proper successor, Sims 4's spiritual successor is, in fact, InZoi. Newberry and Life By You having gone bust, and Paralives developers keeping quiet, it remains to be seen how many new life sim games actually are still coming.
It would appear that for all the disappointment from some gamers, there is a silver lining for DzMD. The Sims 4 packs under its banner can retain their relevance a little bit longer. With sufficient demand, a Sims 3 Anarteq set could justify its release in 2025 as well, for those retro gamers who really want one. There are no plans to restore any content from The Sims 2.
What about the real estate?
Without the ability to run InZoi from Dozerfleet Main, Dozerfleet Labs cannot, at this time, produce inside that game's format any real estate adaptations of any building - in either real life or The Sim 4. However, there are still plans to adapt some of the residential properties for House Flipper 2.
No official Sims 3 packs for Anarteq were ever completed by DzMD. The three packs for The Sims 4 are available now. However, Anarteq gameplay in The Sims 3 is arguably better - and with more for your Anarteq cast-themed Sims to do, given the open world.
Alas, most of the default neighborhoods that come with The Sims 3 don't really do justice to Anarteq gameplay. There are exceptions. Isla Paradiso is great for Tropic Mercenary setting gameplay, if you have the patience to re-create the cast there.
But what if you want to have your Sims on an Irish adventure, a-la Envoy to Lough Melvin? Rinn Fada by Conorsim and Ballinderry Ireland by FredBunny are near-perfect for this type of gameplay.
Yet, perhaps even more desired by players than this, would be proper Guardian of the Soo gameplay. Or, more specifically, gameplay centered around regions related to Guardian of the Soo, but not necessarily Sault Ste Marie itself.
Acadia by BabolatBuiltIt may work for Sault Ste Marie itself in a pinch, but works much better as a stand-in for North Bay and Yellek. It arguably looks more convincing than Copperdale! Failing that, the Sims 3 Store has Aurora Skies for download.
Jissika, heading toward the fair.
Entering the haunted house.
Gold Bridge can be simulated for either Envoy to Lough Melvin or Guardian of the Soo gameplay by Great Bear, a world created by Johnnywr.
Izzy goes for a swim.
Underwater gameplay can be simulated with Mermadia by Crowkeeper.
What else is at the bottom of the Great Lakes?
Mermaidia stands in excellently for the Great Lakes, leading to pretty epic shots.
Izzy and Jissika training to be like Toklo and Tulimak.
If you're really up for a challenge of an Arctic world, the nearest equivalent to Iqaluit, able to also double as Nordreichdun, is Saaqartoq by Nilxis Designs. Feel free to try any of these out, if you're still playing The Sims 3.
It's the closest to Greenland most of you will ever be.
The Dark Kingdom of the North: Nordreichdun. Notice: Krampus sucked most of the color out of the buildings.
Hopefully, a Sims 4 proper Arctic world will still happen. It's unlikely to be patched into either The Horrorday Gang Story Pack nor into the Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo Story Pack, but such a world would complement both story packs' gameplay nicely.
Dozerfleet Labs has been working at a fever pace to finalize the last few packs for the DzMD Sims 4 collection, before moving on to House Flipper 2 mods. Most of the packs still need their official handbooks. However, the utter mess that is compiling the packs is almost at an end. As of 8:40 PM EDT on June 7th of 2024, a compilation was made of the Sodality: Adaptation and Determination Story Pack.
This is a follow-up to 2020's Sodality: Instigation Story Pack, and includes all major highlights of continuity from Adaptation, Determination, Augmentation, and Vindication. At the last minute, Victor Nanale of the Kerpher Gang and the Phaemer Village Peacekeepers were added - with some notes about Keet Kabo features that couldn't be adapted.
The final pack, set to be compiled around Monday the 10th or around Tuesday the 11th of June of 2024, is the Anarteq: Envoy to Lough Melvin Story Pack.
After this final pack is compiled, Dozerfleet will no longer focus on creating mods for Sims games, nor supporting them. The official handbooks missing for key existing packs will be written and published, so each pack will have its official handbook. Trailers on YouTube are being considered for Magic of Movies and Memes Stuff, Ciem: Inferno Story Pack, Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo Story Pack, Ciem: Ash Cloud Story Pack, Anarteq: Tropic Mercenary Story Pack, and one for the Swappernetters collection of packs.
With all handbooks finished at that point, the packs will get IMDB pages, if they don't already have them. Wiki articles will be updated as well. Once research is completed on House Flipper 2 mods, the Dozerfleet founder will retire from game modding.
The comics still pending to be made with The Sims 4 include Volkonir 2008, Blood Over Water, Sniperbadger: Fall of the Critter Resistance, Ciem / Anarteq: Kahoopiliana, and Sorbet. Path of the Ming-Cho aims to be AI-generated.
With all comics and other Sims pack content finished, use of Sims software will be relegated to last-minute character design drafting, to house floor plans, and to rendering concept art for actions scenes too difficult to generate with standard AI generators. Basic character art will be AI-generated, until real costumes and models can be selected to replace the AI models.
As often as possible, Sims floor plan imagery will be replaced with photographs and video, though this may be a slow process.
The main bookstore on the main blog also intends to reinstate some old projects, and bring new ones to the storefront.
A 90 Has No Secant re-release is in consideration, along with re-releases for the Stationery Voyagers pilot episode "Scalding Inquiries," and the minisodes "The Wages of Cheating Death," and "Ties That Confide" that were written before that series was canceled. Gored By Them Things could also benefit from a re-release, as could the 2007 version of Ciem with minor revisions. Official releases of the fanfics A Centipede Lost in the Spiderverse, A Centipede Returns to the Spiderverse, and A Centipede Once Again Saves the Spiderverse are also up for consideration.
The Corando's "Don't Lose Hope" remake from 2022 remains to be completed and added, but has not been abandoned. This will be included with the other Sims comics.
While the future of Cone's Poetry Tire Swing is debatable, Trisola Poetry is set to get a book compilation, with new artwork. The Gerosha Chronicles: Art of the Early Earths would seek to do justice to the artwork made for those versions of Gerosh continuity that didn't survive beyond 2012. Camelorum Adventures: A Concept Art Repository would do this for Dromedeverse art from the early period of Camelorum development. Dozerfleet Academics: A Compilation of Curated Projects would be a review of all surviving high school - through - SWOCC Studios internship work by the Dozerfleet founder of note to have survived to the present day.
The Games and Mods of Dozerfleet Machinomic Downloadables would celebrate and provide commentary on a walkthrough of all Dozerfleet mods of note from the early days of making Sims 2 mods until the completion of the final 16 Sims 4 packs, and any commentary possible on House Flipper 2 mod research.
Making of the Mackleyverse: What Almost Was would explore the complicated history of Mutt Mackley, and his shows that never happened.
For-profit versions of releases for Ciem: Inferno: The Grand Tour and A Very Anarteq Tour of the Soo are being pursued, as tie-ins for their respective novels in the works. Percolation: The Complete Encyclopedia of Crossover Gerosha and Dozerfleet Crossovers is also still being pursued for completion, to discuss the history of Dozerfleet with Marvel: Avengers Alliance, as well as other fanfics, and the development of mythos for the Percolation Warriors saga.
Not to be forgotten, the Every Ape and His Brother parody song lyric collection is set to wrap up with the completion of the final album: The Man From '84. All albums will get their own booklet releases.
Now that The Sims 2 is officially considered abandonware, the mods for it on DzMD are going to start coming down. A booklet will be released about the history of these mods, as best as that history can be reconstructed. In time, that same treatment will be done for The Sims 3 and The Sims Medieval, as mods for those games will also be pulled from the site. Spore and MakeHuman will follow, and possibly Universe Sandbox too. DzMD will soon be reduced to a few archives of Sims 4 mods, a page about what could have been for Spider-Man 2, and a page for mods for House Flipper 2.
The Software and Crafts section has adopted the old StretchSkeleton Cheat Accessories Kit.
So far, the first Sims 2 item to be removed has been the Cast of Inception pack. More will follow. The Ghost Recon Sign and Snakes on a Plane seats are being considered for adaptation to Magic of Movies and Memes Stuff for The Sims 4. Most everything else in the Sims 2 roster will be discontinued indefinitely.

Unfortunately, not all major locations can use House Flipper 2 as CAD software, due to current limitations that prevent more exotic locations or commercial buildings from being depicted. For the time being, any concept art for those locations used for Dozerfleet references will still be made with The Sims 4. Beyond the packs that are few that remain pending for release, however, no new locations are intended for distribution as playable lots in that game.
Outside of a handful of action shots that may require it, most new character art for the Dozerfleet Megaverse will no longer be depicted using Sims software.
The current official standard format is Wonder AI. The Comic Book filter for the Dromedeverse, Crossover Gerosha, and Percolation Warriors events, and the Cinematic filter for Cataclysmic Gerosha and the Eccentriaverse. The Watercolor filter is standard for making bases for poster art that would feature in posters on the pending shop on DeviantArt.
Especially lucky renders will be on occasion made with Krea AI, and most likely enhanced there as well.
Apart from a possible future in House Flipper 2, once the few remaining Sims 4 packs have been released, there won't be much new game content added to DzMD moving forward. The main focus of Dozerfleet Labs will be in its Software and Crafts section, focusing on interactivity and material manifestations of Dozerfleet mythology.
The AI revolution has taken its toll. With that, very few Sims projects remain in production at Dozerfleet.
Of the comics / short story books with Sims illustration, the following remain:
Corando's "Don't Lose Hope"
Blood Over Water
Sorbet
Ciem / Anarteq: Kahoopiliana
Sniperbadger: Fall of the Critter Resistance
Volkonir 2008
Path of the Ming-Cho
Of the DzMD Sims 4 packs for download, only a few projects remain:
Centipede and Fire Saga Story Pack
Anarteq Saga Story Pack
Sodality: Adaptation Story Pack
The Sodality: Determination Story Pack is being merged with the Adaptation Story Pack, as has what would have been the Mukade: Reinvention story pack. The Tales of Extirpon and Gray Champion: Modern Legends packs are going to be truncated and merged with Swappernetters.
The following have been removed from the DzMD roster without merger or replacement:
Cherinob Saga Story Pack
Exploits of a Navy Rope Story Pack
Experiments and Offspring Story Pack
The Battle for Gerosha Story Pack
The Gray Champion: Modern Legends Story Pack
Tales of Extirpon Story Pack
Volkonir Story Pack
Camelorum Adventures Story Pack
There also will be no Ciem Tomorrow story pack.
Following the seven packs still slated, no new Sims 4 pack content will be created for download via Dozerfleet Labs and DzMD. The completion of the eight comics listed above will also mean that, home build interiors notwithstanding, there will likely be no new Sims content of any kind in the future from Dozerfleet Labs.
While Dozerfleet is slowly getting out of the machinomics / machinima / Sims modding business, and won't be getting Sims 5 nor doing much with Sims in the future, that's not to say that there aren't other games on the horizon that look promising. For those who can't get enough of life simulation, InZoi looks promising. For those more concerned with CAD software for buildings, House Flipper 2 may be the way to go.
There was a time when there was serious consideration to pitch a video game adaptation of Ciem: Ash Cloud to Insomniac Studios. They presented with their 2018 Spider-Man game the perfect formula for how such a game could go. A little more on that pitch in a bit.
In fact, some mockups were made with Wonder AI to demonstrate what different members of the Sodality of Gerosha might look like inside Spider-Man 2, should the PS5 game ever get a PC port as the first one did.
The first game was referenced many times in Dozerfleet fanfics from 2018 to 2023, including A Centipede Returns to the Spiderverse, Percolation Warriors: Spider-Faith, A Centipede Once Again Saves the Spiderverse, and A Centipede and Her Friends Save Two Spider-Men.
Unfortunately, this happened:
This is hardly the only list of complaints about the new game. YouTube, for a time, was saturated with videos filled with complaints about the smug, tone deaf, ignorant, clueless, self-righteous unrighteous new direction Insomniac has gone in.
Alas, like all major corporations, Insomniac can't pay its real estate bills unless it has certain credit qualifications. Which increasingly operate on a Chinese Social Credit-style system, courtesy of BlackRock and the Herodian Mafia. All of Esau's brats, Nimrod's ambitious, are at it, again. All their evil offspring: commies, wokes, the usual suspects; all up to the usual nonsense.
And that has cast doubt there ever being a Ciem: Ash Cloud video game in the Insomniac style of gameplay. While the work is willing to negotiate a little on gameplay mechanics and art style, the writing, the soul, and the God-centeredness of the story's message, are not interested in ever being sacrificed! The core of what Ash Cloud aims to be about is not negotiable! Yet, it's that very heart of its messages that would be the first things attacked, undermined, or replaced by the social credit club.
How Ash Cloud would work, narratively
Because Ciem: Ash Cloud is integrated into a greater schemata of mythology within The Gerosha Chronicles, it'd be almost impossible to tell the story's opening in a video game the same way as how the book would open. There'd need to be prologue missions to initiate the game with, similarly to how Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for PS2 started players out with some of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli's missions in Fellowship of the Ring before jumping players into The Two Towers' actual movie plot.
Unless Ciem: Inferno and Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo became games first, which would then require a Blood Over Water and a Purge-Flare: Stickin' It to Pencil adaptation prologue for Inferno and a few other prologues for Guardian of the Soo, then the most logical way to initiate an Ash Cloud game would require an Inferno climax prologue. This would be followed by a Guardian of the Soo prologue mission, a Sniperbadger: Fall of the Critter Resistance mission, a Goatgruff Kahoopiliana mission, an Anarteq Kahoopiliana mission, and finally, a mission involving Ciem and Goatgruff in Madison. The next would be a Rise of Korsicht mission for players to play as the Gray Champion. An Escape from Boston mission from The Gray Champion: Shaken Dust could also be included, but wouldn't be necessary.
After the Gray Champion mission in which Korsicht rises up, however, the plot would get rolling pretty quickly. A few small missions as Candi Flippo would play out, and then would come the Anitos. Playing as Goatgruff, players would fight the Anitos and Screwworms until it was canonically time for Candi to become Ciem again. She'd then become the main playable character for the rest of the game, with maybe one mission of playing as Purge-Flare, one as Flintirah, and one as Extirpon.
From there, the Ash Cloud game would follow the book's story pretty faithfully, right up until it was time to close everything down with the final mission of returning to Madison before time runs out. A DLC could possibly allow for Ciem: Caldera to be played as well. The epilogue to Ash Cloud could include a stinger of Tanya Woven's tragedy and Ajeerma Casey's death, teasing the arrival of the Ciem of Seattle. A Ciem of Seattle follow-up game could occur, set after the Caldera timeline. This would have a lot fewer playable characters, and be more focused on Tanya. However, side missions as Yong or even Plum Bixie could be possible.
Since Insomniac stated their desire to make a spin-off Wolverine game also set in Earth-1048, it wouldn't be unreasonable to build off of Ciem: Ash Cloud and its Anarteq and Nemara missions taken from Guardian of the Soo to create a spinoff Anarteq: Tropic Mercenary game that also borrows a little from Guardian of the Soo and Ciem / Anarteq: Kahoopiliana.
There's already artwork available for what an Insomniac-style Ash Cloud game could look like, AI-generated:
This is Candi in a hallway of Unit 5 of Madison Juvenile in 2016; right as things go haywire during Korsicht, the Anitos', and the Screwworms' raid.
Korsicht. The main villain.
Patty Trean. Betrayed by her father and left owing a lot of money on a fraudulent check, she finds herself in Unit 5. Scared, Patty is relieved to make friends with Candi quickly.
The Screwworms. Compromising other prisons.
Flintirah.
Long, straight-haired variant of Nancy Hizrah.
The original Taterbug: Meagan Amez.
Why a woke Insomniac would be a bad choice
Intihar's mad vision for things would be total toxicity to any part of The Gerosha Chronicles, and that's in spite of the fact that its canon already makes several emasculation concessions:
Goatgruff gets killed by the Anitos.
Korsicht captures the Gray Champion.
Extirpon isn't shown doing much until almost the very end.
Anarteq is barely able to defeat Wishpon.
Yet, modern Insomniac would probably still not be satisfied! The following changes are consistent with Intihar's "genius," and would totally butcher the plot and heart of everything:
It's very likely Tanya Woven would be introduced into the plot way too early. While it narratively makes sense for Miles Morales to be included in the 2018 Spider-Man base game, Tanya isn't introduced in Ciem mythos until just before the Caldera timeline. This is to be narratively consistent with the fact that Tanya is inspired by real life Taryn Twine. Therefore, she can't be in prison until February of 2017 at the earliest. As such, telling her story set after the events in Ash Cloud as happening earlier makes little narrative sense. Yet, it'd be consistent with the desire by the studio to have her phase Candi out.
Simping for Tanya wouldn't end there. There'd be racial bias for preferring Tanya. Both Candi and Tanya are half-black; but Candi was raised primarily by a white older adoptive sister and by a Japanese inventor godfather, so she has "white" speech mannerisms. Tanya at least talks "black," so they'd dote on her instead. Tanya's hairstyle is more "black" than Candi's as well. On top of that, Tanya had a black father and a white mother. Candi had a white father and black mother. Stan Flippo being experimented on by aliens is literally how Candi inherited her centipede powers, but woketards care more about not letting white straight men have credit for anything!
Speaking of aliens, the Phaelite Society of Earth subplot would be too complicated for the studio. They'd probably just have Candi get bitten by a radioactive centipede or something instead. Weak.
They'd make Anarteq suck at everything, not just at keeping his cousin out of trouble. They wouldn't be able to find enough ways to emasculate poor Isitoq!
Mary Sue-ification of Nemara. They'd make Jissika "Nemara" Sundue a smug little taint, unable to accept any responsibility for her own screw ups. In canon, when she goes to juvie in Sault Ste Marie, she equally blames herself and Wishpon for her being there. She doesn't deny that her own impulsive actions were partially to blame for what happened. But Insomniac would make her try to place ALL the blame on Izzy! In canon, she only faults Izzy for not taking the threat of Wishpon more seriously sooner. But she still admits she screwed up by attacking Wishpon without backup!
How many gods do we need? They'd make Pakulihi Lekaho as "Kamohoalii" a literal god, instead of an elaborate Marlquaanite imposter of one. They'd also remove his canonical hatred of Hawaiian Democrats over the fact that they murdered his fourth wife back in the 80s. Instead, they'd have him rant about generic something something "racism."
More emasculation: They'd make Goatgruff be miserably incompetent, rather than just get unlucky because the Anitos overpowered and outnumbered him.
No white father figures allowed! They'd completely change Candi's entire motivation for going to Cincinnati, even in ways that make no sense for her character; because they'd be much too butthurt to adapt a story about her risking her life for a white father figure in Bruce Almin, the only father figure she had left with Stan dead and Imaki denied contact with her. Not even the fact that Korsicht is half-Russian would convince them that Candi should risk her life to stop Korsicht from murdering an elderly white prison warden!
More Mary-Sue-ification: They'd probably also try to turn Cynthia Trenson into a total badass. Which is insulting to her actual role!
Even more emasculation and character assassination: They'd make Jordan Grentzwell a jerkwad, so that Candi and Cynthia could abandon him in the rubble and feel no guilt. In canon, Jordan was pretty respectable as Candi's supervisor. The girls make every reasonable effort to save his life when he gets injured.
Sociopathic Girl Power: Even more insultingly, they'd not only have Candi leave Jordan for dead; but play up Candi leaving Jordan for dead as some sort of "girl power" moment! Because nothing says "female empowerment" like showing women to be unable to rise above petty hatred for a bald man that did nothing to them!
In conclusion
Insomniac's new creative direction has proven quite a disappointment, one which may very well doom any chance that Ciem: Ash Cloud ever had to be adapted to a video game. The art style and gameplay looked promising; but a game based on any part of The Gerosha Chronicles would require godly writers that have a love and passion for the art they're making. It would require competent writers as well. Writers who aren't into a satanic BlackRock agenda. And writers who would never dare place such an agenda over and above the need for good storytelling!
In so many ways, Spider-Man 2 got gypped. And so did the players. Dozerfleet Labs has no intention of letting Insomniac make the same mistakes with a Ciem game!
At long last, Pete Hassler's cabal gets their main headquarters added to the Swappernetters: Frontliner Story Pack for The Sims 4. This addition is to celebrate the fact that the apartment complex where Hassler is set to be in-universe has now been officially defined as the Forest Place Apartments of Little Rock. Lack of scouting in 2020 for an actual location for Hassler's apartment led to use of in-game defaults from the Eco Lifestyle apartments, which aren't guaranteed accurate to the floor plans of any real life apartment.
This setup makes it harder for Hassler to hide his activities with Frontliners than in the previous draft, resulting in visitors seldom coming to his door other than Atroce and Triflow.
Another noteworthy detail about Hassler's apartment is that this version is safer for download. The original wasn't included on DzMD, due to its requiring TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. mod. This version can get by without it. The floor plan for Hassler's apartment is the Magnolia plan.
The Swappernetters: Frontliner Story Pack has been revised as of 4/4/2023. The old Trista Clarion and Bret Kamhold cabal HQ houses, which were draft concepts, are still available for download. However, they are now offered alongside new models, which take their designs based on real homes in the Little Rock area.
Trista's home is especially noteworthy, given how connected it was to other places in the original draft. However, the structure and terrain needed for a house like that in real-life Little Rock was too far from downtown to be practical. The new address for Trista's base of operations for her cabal is now specified to be located at 1524 W. 19th St. in Little Rock.
Kamhold's hideout also has a real address now, in nearby North Little Rock. His new hideout is 914 Roseclair Dr. While not nearly as functional as the original hideout, it is consistent with real world geography. It also reflects how Kamhold wouldn't necessarily be operating with the same generous budget as Trista, in spite Steve Trussel and other benefactors at the top of the chain financing both cabal bosses.
Paradox's new game Life By You is causing much stir, mostly due to how it seeks to be a modern-day-suited revamp of The Sims 3, while beating out EA in almost every category of game design. However, it's future on Dozerfleet Labs - and in other divisions of Dozerfleet - will be contingent on many different factors.
Screenshot licensing
The desire of Paradox to protect its IP is understandable. However, the exact terms of licensing for players regarding what can and cannot be done with modified screenshots of content generated inside of the game determines the practicality of utilization with regards to Dozerfleet Labs acquiring a copy of the game for anything other than simple gameplay and amusement.
Scenario 1: Screenshots may be used in for-profit novels, without paying royalties to Paradox
If something on par with a Creative Commons or similar license is permitted, and for-profit novels may have their illustrations use screenshots from the game, with credits to the game and its developers provided as a sort of free advertising, then several Dozerfleet Literature productions may feature modified screenshots. For-profit comic release deals could also be made for Dozerfleet Comics. Under this setup, all future Sims 4 content packages would be canceled, and replaced with Life By You story packs. Only Sims packs that already exist will remain supported.
Freelance photography notwithstanding, nothing else on the Dozerfleet Studios end currently involves any money changing hands as part of an immediate business transaction pertaining to production. Therefore, machinima videos are not affected by this. Art for the Dozerfleet Database, and for Dozerfleet Records productions, would similarly switch over to using Life By You for anything that can't simply rely on Wonder.
The value of images in most instances would be as thus:
Most valuable - Photos with full permission for use or full ownership.
Photos with adequate permission for use.
Wonder AI app generations, modified or otherwise.
Life By You modified screenshots, or artwork otherwise generated from in-game assets.
Character Creator 3 or MakeHuman renders of sufficient quality.
Sims generated with The Sims 4.
Sims generated with The Sims 3.
Sims generated with The Sims 2.
Scenario 2: Screenshots will require a deal, or may not be used at all in for-profit third-party works
If only free content made by third parties may feature anything generated by virtue of the game, then other factors related to the product and its growth / popularity would determine future investment in the product.
If its performance can outshine The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 in almost every imaginable way, as promised, even on older CPUs, then it will replace The Sims 4 as the de-facto generator of machinomic panels for any work that isn't already too invested in Sims, or hasn't been made yet, as additional content for Life By You becomes available. Character art leaks at present have a very Sims 3 vibe to them; but that could change as the game improves.
Failing to meet this criteria, Dozerfleet Labs will likely not invest in Life By You. If it can't deliver better peformance, it'd be a waste of time and money, when so many characters are already in Sims formats, and would require some pain to translate to another game format.
Age of hardware
The current Dozerfleet Main's shelf life is up for debate; but it has already turned six years old. While its original hard drive for the operating system was replaced with a solid state drive in 2020, and it received a RAM upgrade in 2022, the motherboard won't last forever. There is currently no money for an upgrade to another tower, at least not until next year. Even then, Ryzen mini cube PCs appear to be the future of PC for Dozerfleet.
Playout by division if adopted
Literature: Depending on game screenshot modification lisencing in the game's TOU, screenshots may or may not feature in for-profit works. Free works would be fair game, assuming the game were purchased and replaced Sims 4 as the default game engine employed for machinomics. Free works otherwise will still use Wonder, while for-profit works will take pains to stick to photos owned / created by Dozerfleet.
Comics: Any comics in the set of comics designated to be made that haven't yet been made will be shot using this game as much as possible. While it's too soon to know the practicality of Life By You's performance for rendering characters of a fantastical nature from Ciem / Anarteq: Kahoopiliana, nor Sniperbadger: Fall of the Critter Resistance, Path of the Ming-Cho might be feasible. And if so, would replace Wonder as the art generator for that title. Sorbet could also get updated to include Life By You. Only Blood Over Water and Volkonir 2008 are hard-set on using The Sims 4. Already-produced works in post-production, like Corando's Don't Lose Hope, are exempt from this future business politics debate. Their association with The Sims is grandfathered into their design.
Records: Character art may or may not be made with Life By You, all things considered, especially in instances where Wonder proves inadequate.
Studios: The future of Life By You for machinima productions is up for debate. It would arguably depend on the occcasion.
Labs: DzMD would switch over if all other criteria are met. It's unknown how many characters would be re-created in this new format, however.
Corando's "Don't Lose Hope" is nearing completion with its 2022 remake. As documented on the wiki here, several tie-in items have been made available for download. There are no current plans for re-releasing these items in the main DzMD repository, however.
The items in question are an upload of the main cast, the Chawla Homestead from the story's epilogue, and the Corando band's old home near Orono, Maine in the prologue.
Due to EA / Maxis having to obey absolutely absurd rules regarding their "disallowed words" list, this current Gallery exclusive item is branded "Honccler Park" on the Gallery. The text surrounding Honkler reads "Reject Degeneracy."
You can find this in the Gallery by searching for "#savethefrogs" in your hashtag search.
You read that right! The Sims 4: Oughties Big Rapids Living Stuff is now officially listed on IMDB! This makes it the first time a Dozerfleet Productions item has ever been given such a listing. Hopefully, it won't be the last. Stay tuned for more updates! And don't be afraid to download the pack, and go to IMDB to give ratings!
Matt and Steve Kamrowski's iconic hero from the student film The Sherpa Sheriff is now a part of Oughties Big Rapids Living Stuff, courtesy of The Sherpa Patch. The original film from 2007 was produced and directed by Ferris TDMP alum Matt Kamrowski.
The patch also introduces a more accurate 300 movie poster to Blood Over Water, as well as new folder icons for Windows 11 and macOS Mojave.

This completes the 2020 collection for Sims 3 downloads for DzMD. Future ones are in consideration for release at an unspecified time in the future, possibly 2021 some time.
A Sims 4 version of the Tales of Extirpon subfranchise of The Gerosha Chronicles is pending for release in 2021, in a version that will go into a lot more detail with the biographies of each character.
Other Sims 4 works pending for that year include a Centipede and Fire Saga pack series, an Anarteq-themed pack, Camelorum Adventures, Volkonir, and more.
This concludes Dozerfleet Labs project releases for 2020. Stay tuned for 2021, when more projects are set for release to the Labs division of Dozerfleet Productions! In the mean time, the main Dozerfleet blog is your go-to for information about releases or re-releases of Dozerfleet content from all the other divisions.
