Testing has revealed that the biggest issue with the Anarteq: Top of the World Story Pack, at the moment, is that Haus of Nando's Going North mod appears to be broken. Without this, Tartosa cannot become Iceland, and the Greenland doubling illusion is broken.
The problem doesn't appear to be with the glaciers, lighthouse, fake houses, or other objects. It's entirely with the world map overlay instructing the Tartosa area of the coastline. The GP11 overlay doesn't translate, and the game defaults to making Tartosa be Italian.
All other issues appear to have been fixed. Because of this, the story packs can continue with their handbook production. If any machinomics do still get made with The Sims 4, Blood Over Water and Sorbet would be the likely candidates. Volkonir 2008 will likely be made with AI instead. All other comics have already been redirected to AI workflows.
Many patches for The Sims 4 have broken the game throughout the game's life cycle. However, the patch for Adventure Awaits proved incredulously destructive. It remains to be seen how soon these remaining issues can be resolved. Suffice to say, Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo will not require Going North. And after that, the remaining packs that need handbooks are Midwestern, Hawaiian, or Irish. The Horrorday Gang may show Nordreichdun Palace and Klauenstadt to a degree, but will not require Going North to function visually.
