This pack is primarily focused around those villains that are not directly a part of the Chrome Kite in Swappernetters, but which do play their part to cause the Swappernetter heroes no small amount of frustration. If intrigued, don't forget to also check out the other Story Packs!

Rappaccini takes his alias after a villain from a short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and uses the Hawthorne naming scheme specifically to make clear that he is intent on undoing the Gray Champion's legacy - in any form it takes!

He has been around in the upper echelons of the Society of the Icy Finger since at least 2011; but kicks things into high gear when he discovers that the society's ancient enemy, John Domeck, is somehow alive and well in 2012 Boston!

Eqquibus may have been a failure to implement into the Society properly; but Rappaccini was only getting warmed up. He yearned to initiate a huge mining operation in Italy - and another in Mozambique - to gather enough hidden Marlquaanite rubies to create another Abdygalis Shard! He was also intent on recovering the existing ones! He knew there were two on Phaeleel and two on Metheel, and three on Earth! He'd need an Earthling, Meethlite, and Phaelite combination to create a miniature Abdygalis, enough to unlock the Multiverse, and conquer it all, as part of his insane quest to overthrow Heaven itself!

Rappaccini also aided and abetted the ISIS-affiliated Halal Affadidah, giving him his own army, that the Affadidah Ameristan Caliphate project could be used as a puppet front. Affadidah, however, got along better with the Hebbleskin Gang. Affadidah's front became an unofficial fourth part of the Triumvirate - which initially consisted of the Icy Finger, Hebbleskin Gang, and Phaletori.

When sending Miles Charleston as the new Chillingworth to tear apart the Pangs and steal Hester's Locket didn't work; Rappaccini tried to recover one of the three known Earth Abdygalis Shards. The first attempt led to him sending his minion, Yevghenny Mavoric, to infiltrate the Septagon Construction Company in Romania in an effort to recover the first known Shard. However, Mavoric was revealed to be the demon Kritchobol in disguise, who betrays Rappaccini. The Shard was destroyed by way of Cavalore and Boris Heminski making the daring move of ripping the Shard of Kritchobol out of Cherinob's shoulder, and then plunging it into the Abdygalis Shard when the demon was distracted. This caused Cherinob to be temporarily freed from the Shard, and revert to being Velithia. As Velithia, with some additional help from Heaven, she was able to defeat Kritchobol. However, Cherinob and the Shard of Kritchobol were required to be together "until the appointed time." Therefore, she was reluctantly reunited with it.

This destruction infuriated Rappaccini, who later in 2015 sent Wishpon to Yellek to recover an Abdygalis Compass from Nanaouk. The compass was damaged in a battle with Emeraldon, Nemara, and Anarteq. Wishpon fled toward Sault Ste. Marie, and then made himself scarce. Nanaouk sent Isitoq Sundue to get a temporary job as a tour guide for the Soo Locks, using a special program and brochure to ensure Izzy would get the part. He also helped Izzy secure an AirBNB home at 1011 Wellington St. on the Ontario side.

Around the same time that Emeraldon was in Yellek fighting for the compass, Rappaccini used the diversion to attack Evansville - having finally learned of Donte McArthur's true identity. His Screwworms nuked the McArthur family's home, and also attacked the Old National Events Center, in retaliation for Emeraldon foiling a Tug installation experiment in Florida earlier in 2015.

However, the Tug defense frontline in the plaza's rafters was unable to keep SCALLOP and the National Guard away from restoring order as long as Rappaccini had hoped for, due to Ciem's interference. The Triumvirate got a small break, in the form of Ciem later landing in juvenile detention over a Kirby Act violation.

Wishpon ultimately failed to take down Anarteq, lost several Screwworms in the struggle, and failed to recover the Abdygalis Shard. Nanaouk sacrifices himself to send it to Neptune - far out of Rappaccini's reach. Wishpon's only success, was in getting Nemara sent to prison. A frustrated Rappaccini threatens to bomb any nation that aids Anarteq, deciding America will get it regardless as part of a "special protocol." With Justin Trudeau bending the knee, Canada declares Anarteq a fugitive. Izzy finds himself having to flee to Hawaii, where Kamohoalii takes him in as a refugee.

Phase 1 of Rappaccini's plan is to send Affadidah and his men to stage a full-scale assault on Boston. He also staged one on Jonesboro, intent on conquering Arkansas. However, only the Boston campaign proved successful; as John Domeck returned to save Jonesboro. Rappaccini vowed to one day conquer Arkansas and put a puppet regime in charge, just to rub it in Domeck's face.

Phase 2 was a plan called "Project Kaiakahinalli II," hidden away on a series of encoded flash drives. The first one recovered by the Sodality Church was written in Hawaiian, so SCALLOP bribes Izzy into getting Kamohoalii to decode the drive for them. In exchange, they secure Jissika's parole. However, the second drive is intercepted too late by the Sodality Church, leading to Eric Korsicht destroying Louisville with the Heart of Pele necklace before SCALLOP can assemble a team of heroes. Cincinnati is shown to be the real target; and a full-scale war for the fate of Indiana and Ohio ensues. Most Kentucky residents are forced to flee southward into Tennesee.

Korsicht would've succeeded at causing even worse trouble, but a coordinated effort by Ciem and the Gray Champion led to him losing the Heart of Pele, and being defeated soon afterward.

Rappaccini hands the battle baton off to Arfaas after that, and Arfaas proceeds by sending Quoll to terrorize Gerosha. However, this all proves to be a ruse, so that Kropimak Duzerit can steal the Heart of Pele back from SCALLOP and detonate Yellowstone. A coordinated effort between Ciem and Extirpon minimizes the destruction potential of the eruption; but doesn't stop the supervolcano from going off completely.

With his forces exhausted, Rappaccini retreated for several years, waiting for the Hebbleskins and Phaletori to start pulling their weight more. Rappaccini finally resumes his conquest of Arkansas - and the universe - after the Phaletori and Hebbleskins are soundly defeated once and for all. He vows to rebuild the Triumvirate when he gets equals from other universes.

As he plans to recover from his defeat in 2026 by the now-dismembered Sodality of Gerosha, he has allowed the Chrome Kite to rule as his puppets over "Arkonia," patiently awaiting results from this experiment to plan future conquests.

Rappaccini can be tough to fight directly, but not impossible to defeat. However, he is very cunning, and hides behind several layers of enforcers and others. His appeal to the basest elements of human nature gives him sway over millions of followers, ensuring he will always have enough personnel to pose a credible threat somewhere. He is very persistent, and not easily deterred at anything.

Jill Hook / Lady Chillingworth

Frontliner Imposter

Jill's primary job was to undergo the Oisdaat Protocol, named in honor of former SCALLOP infiltrator Jim Oisdaat. She was to pretend to be a Swappernetter, after following a few of them around. She was to keep a log, and to eventually file a report on her findings. She managed to get some gigs working for Hassler's cabal. However, Tabitha was able to expose her as a spy eventually. Sarah attempted to confront her, but a furious Jill fled. She later accepted the role of becoming a new Chillingworth. She was told to found out who was at the top of financing the Sneakernet Underground, and to take him out. However, she also wanted revenge on Sarah - believing Sarah was the one who exposed her first.

Lady Chillingworth nearly abducts Steve Trussel, but her plan is intercepted by Triflo - Atroce's replacement in doing CReNwork. Triflo relays to Chanticleer that Lady Chillingworth hasn't yet informed the Chrome Kite of Trussel's true allegiance; and that she intends to take him out personally.

Sanctioned Supervillain

Chanticleer realizes that he is no match for a Chillingworth-grade villain; so he has Triflo call in Jonathan Tannuli's help. It's dangerous for Jonathan to show himself, but he realizes how critical protecting Trussel is. He sends a Pilltar droid to protect Trussel.

With Pilltar protecting Trussel, however, Chanticleer sends out a message to all Frontliners to warn them that Jill was Chillingworth the entire time. Trista sends Tabby and her friends to confront Lady Chillingworth, and find a way to disable her. However, Jill fights dirty, and draws attention from local police and the Hgs.

To the Twirlflame Trio's benefit, Tabby was able to negotiate with Throba to make Jill the primary target. Alas, an officer aiming for Sarah hits Jill instead, killing her almost instantly. The others flee, and Throba does his part to make sure Tabby and her friends aren't named as suspects in the confrontation. Jill is ruled as having gone rogue, and the police report is rendered quickly to keep the Hgs from taking over the case.

As a part of the Chillingworth Program, Jill had all the same abilities as were given to the initial Roger Chillingworth - as well as to Miles Charleston.
